Help Wanted
Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 9:42AM Our site is looking for volunteers meaning you'd be helping us out just because you'd like to be part of a team that's looking to redefine what gaming websites provide. Our current staff is small and also working completely free and we're up to our necks in projects we're juggling that either don't have the time dedication or lack the skills to fulfill certain aspects we desire.
Most support members will be request based and will be known as a “Request Agent”. So for example we'll post a detailed request of what is needed and a deadline. After someone claims the request it will be removed so that we don't have multiple people working on the same thing. We do however accept submissions from our request agents and if we can find use for it we'll gladly use it, but it isn't a guarantee. If a Request Agent proves himself as very talented and has high reliability then he'll be upgraded to Off-site Staff. While I'd love to say that this means you'll receive tons of perks and money the truth is seeing as the current staff is broke it'll simply mean we'll give you more to do on a consistent basis. The best we could come up with is we'd provide a very glowing recommendation letter to any potential employers you are pursuing.
Currently looking for:
Artists – Looking for both Photoshop masters and hand drawing experts. No such thing as too many artist because of the variety of content we provide and the large amounts we'd request. Possibly also someone who does photography, but location and available assets would determine that.
Audio Artist – Not Audio Editor because we do that in house. By Audio Artist we mean someone who essentially can bring skits and show concepts to life by the use of sound effects. Similar to what an audio engineer in a movie would do, but minus the visuals, provided equipment, and money.
Musicians – 8-bit, rock, rap, classical, or jug blowers can provide us with original music, remixes, and music editing.
Website Assets Designer – Banners, headers, footers, and all other website artistry is needed when we increase in size and have separate sections and feeds on the site.
